The National Speakers Association Brings Together Experts Who Share Ideas Around the Globe
Where do professional speakers go to learn more about the art of speaking? The National Speakers Association is home to 2,000+ members who gather several times throughout the year to sharpen our skills on stage and become better at the business of speaking.
I’ve been an NSA member since my 2000 when my good friend and mentor, Eric Chester, invited me to join the organization. I earned the Certified Speaking Professional designation in 2005 and was honored to be inducted into the National Speaker Hall of Fame in 2010. Even after all of these years, I can’t wait to attend the summer Influence conference to meet up with old friends, rub elbows with legends and to be inspired by the young guns with new ways to connect and engage with our audiences.
This year I was honored to speak at the NSA Foundation Event where we raise money to help those in our profession who find themselves in times of need. The all-star line-up included my heroes on the platform including my good friends Mark Scharenbroich, the Passing Zone (Jon Wee and Owen Morse), Tim Gard, Patrick Henry and Naomi Rhode.
