Early Childhood Educators Join Steve Spangler for a Day of Hands-on Science Fun
Preparing today’s students for future STEM-based careers starts by learning how to create hands-on experiences for children as young as three years old. The staff from the Child Development Center in Mount Pleasant ISD welcomed us for a day of wonder, discovery and exploration.
Everyday STEM for Little Sprouts is a full-day workshop experience focused on exploring best practices and instructional strategies for getting young learners excited about science. Teachers conducted experiments in color mixing, simple chemical reactions, states of matter, electricity, and some cool science magic to practice their presentation skills.
